Queensland Kauri Pine

Agathis robusta

Agathis robusta is a grand coniferous tree native to the tropical and subtropical coastal rainforests of Queensland, Australia. It features a massive, smooth, straight grey trunk and a high, dense canopy of thick, glossy green leaves. In cultivation, it forms a striking, symmetrical specimen tree.

Coastal rainforests of Queensland and parts of Papua New Guinea.

Pruning is generally not required for mature trees. Trim lower branches of young trees to establish a clear central trunk.
