Sydney Red Gum
Angophora costata
Angophora costata, commonly known as the Sydney red gum or rusty gum, is a prominent native Australian tree. It is famous for its smooth, pinkish-orange bark that changes color throughout the seasons and eventually sheds in large flakes to reveal a fresh grey layer. In summer, it produces clusters of cream-white flowers.
