Intermediate. Requires high warmth, humidity, and precise watering. Not recommended for drafty rooms.
Bright, indirect light. Direct hot sun will instantly burn the velvety leaves. Low light will result in smaller leaves and faded veins.
Moderate. Keep soil lightly moist. Allow the top 2-3 cm of potting mix to dry out before watering again. Very sensitive to soggy soil and dry root spells.
Super chunky, well-aerated soil mix. Combine 40% orchid bark, 20% peat moss, 20% perlite, 10% charcoal, and 10% standard potting soil.
Requires warm temperatures (above 18°C) and high humidity (60%+). Use a humidifier, pebble tray, or place in a humid glazed environment.
Division. Carefully divide root clumps or offset plantlets during repotting in warm spring weather.
