Lady Palm

Rhapis excelsa

Rhapis Excelsa, or Lady Palm, is an elegant, multi-stemmed palm with fan-shaped, dark green fronds. Exceptionally shade-tolerant and slow-growing, it is one of the most resilient indoor palms available, thriving in low-light environments where other palms would struggle.

Native Origin & Climate

Subtropical and tropical regions of China. Well-adapted to indoor and shaded outdoor spaces across Australia.

Expert Pruning Tip

Only prune fully yellowed or brown lower fronds close to the cane. Brown leaf tips can be trimmed with sharp scissors following the natural leaf shape.
