Dichondra argentea, commonly known as Silver Falls, is a spectacular trailing evergreen plant. It is widely grown for its small, fan-shaped, shimmering silver-grey leaves that grow tightly along cascading stems. It forms a dramatic 'waterfall' of silver foliage when grown in hanging baskets or over retaining walls.

Dry, rocky desert regions of western Texas, New Mexico, and Mexico.

Low maintenance. Extremely heat and drought-tolerant; behaves as a hardy groundcover or trailer.
Full sun to light afternoon shade. Thrives in hot, sunny positions; silver color is most intense in full sun.
