Phlebodium aureum, the blue star fern, is an epiphytic evergreen fern native to tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas. It is highly valued for its striking, deeply lobed fronds with a distinct glaucous blue-green color. In nature, it grows on trees and rocks, creeping via fuzzy golden-brown rhizomes.
