Platycerium superbum

Platycerium superbum is a majestic epiphytic fern native to the rainforests of eastern Australia. It grows on trees or rocks in its natural habitat and is widely cultivated as a specimen plant.

Native Origin & Climate

Rainforest canopy of eastern Queensland and New South Wales, Australia.

Expert Pruning Tip

Avoid cutting the shield fronds. Only remove brown, completely dried out fertile fronds (antlers) from the base.
